Sound Effects
Enter the sound you want, and three AIs generate sound effects at once. Listen, compare, and download your favorite.
Generate with all three models
Your description is sent to Stability AI, ElevenLabs, and Sonilo. Non-English text is translated with Gemini. Prompts and generated audio are saved.
From a description to your own sound effects
Describe a sound and AI generates audio to match. Create notification tones, game effects, foley for videos, or background ambience without searching a sound library. Sound Effects runs three services from one description, so you can compare their interpretations and choose the result that fits your project.
How to use
1. Describe the sound
Enter what makes the sound, how it happens, and the setting. Japanese and other languages are supported. Choose a length from 1 to 15 seconds; the example buttons can help you get started.
2. Generate three versions
Select “Generate all three” to start Stability AI, ElevenLabs, and Sonilo together. Results appear as each service finishes. You can listen to a completed result while the others are still generating.
3. Listen and download
Play each result and compare its tone, timing, and background sound. Save any result you like as an MP3. You can download several versions; you do not have to choose just one.
How generation works
If your description is not in English, Gemini translates it once. The same English description and requested length are then sent to three audio-generation APIs in parallel. Stability AI also receives an instruction identifying the request as a sound effect. Generation runs on the services’ servers, so you do not need a GPU, an API key, or an installation.

Sonilo

Each service generates its own audio; the three results are not edits of a single recording. The same description can produce different textures, timing, or ambience. Generation is not deterministic, so results may also vary between attempts. The order on the page does not indicate a quality ranking.
Tips for describing a sound
Start with one clear event. Specify the material, action, number of repetitions, distance, and space when they matter. If you want an isolated effect, say “no music, voices, or background noise.” If the result feels too busy, simplify the description and try again.
Example: A single light knock on a wooden door, close up in a quiet room. A short, dry sound with little echo. No music, voices, or background noise.
Use it in your creative workflow
Try interface clicks, magic effects for games, transitions for short videos, or rain and wind for a scene. The tool is free to use and requires no sign-up. It generates short MP3 clips, rather than complete songs or edited video soundtracks. Listen to the ending and background noise before using a clip; you may want to trim it or adjust its volume in your editor.
Saving results and handling your data
Descriptions are sent to Stability AI, ElevenLabs, and Sonilo; non-English descriptions are also sent to Gemini for translation. Fire Lit AI stores descriptions and generated audio on its server to process generation requests and retrieve the audio. Download clips you want to keep before closing or reloading the page. Avoid entering confidential or personal information. Save-button clicks are also recorded to compare usage by generation provider.
